Right, I've reached the stage in life where I'm interested in buying a nice, practical, moderately expensive, daily wear watch.

In this area, I'm a total virgin.

Quite enjoyed thumbing through the watch site of the guy who was on telly recently (son of an actor, lived in LA as a kid, did coke and hookers ++, grew up a bit and started selling watches).

Any links to his site would be appreciated as I didn't bookmark it.

So - which watch and where to buy?
