Not really, although it does no harm.
Pinkbike is the place really, the site, if you don't know it, is more gravity based than XC and there's a lot of kids on there so you might get silly e-mails offering to swap you for Xboxes and Mopeds or the like, but there are some really buyers too.
SingleTrackWorld has a busy classifies but it's caotic, with a poor search facilites and not much in the way of seperating into different types of MTBs everything gets thrown in together and if it's off the first 3 pages it's largely lost unless you repost it.
BikeRadar is quieter than it used to be, failing that there's always eBay.

eBay. BIN/Best offer with your phone no in the listing to invite viewings (ie cash sale. Collection only, anything else you're likely to be scammed). If it hasn't sold in a month, auction.
No matter how high end it was, if it's a few years old and/or not Med or Lge and/or 26" it'll not fetch much and you'll almost certainly make more from it by splitting.

It's a lovely looking thing and a very desirable bike so your price is about right I'd guess, but It's a very small market for what is still a very expensive bike so you might have to be patient.
Things that are hurting you though:
SC's are a bit 'funny' at the moment with their two-tier pricing - you can buy a 'C' spec frame and a 'R' full build with a decent, but entry level build for £3k, up the spec to a Pike and mid-range-ish RaceFace 'S AM' kit for less than £4k, no it doesn't have lovely XTR kit, nor your lovely wheels - but it's not much more to buy, comes with a warranty and finance, or you can buy the 'CC' frame for £3k on its own... they say they're different frames, but I personally don't believe them and not many people do.
Unfortunately, they've also just changed the frame so yours in the 'old' one - and they're being sold for £1500, brand new with a warranty and finance etc.
There’s no reason why someone might contact you tomorrow and make you a decent offer, it’s ‘ballpark’ with other SCs on PB, but you might have to wait till Spring – if you want to shift it quicker you’ll either have to offer a bargain price or split it – it’s more work but parts always sell much quicker and you’ll usually got more over-all.

ebay is by far the quickest way to sell things but can work out very expensive - I try all the Facebook Sites / PB etc before resorting to ebay - I've just sold some forks for £140, I won't see much more than £120 after ebay (10%) and paypal (£5-6) take their cut.
