Afternoon all!

I will be selling my old faithful Giant in the next week or so after agreeing on a secondhand Specialized Tarmac that I will use as my Winter/not great weather bike. The Giant is a large and has always been slightly too big for me so time to change now I am getting older/less flexible.

I bought the Giant secondhand in 2008 when it was described as a Giant TCR T-mobile. It has carbon rear drops and carbon forks, all the T-mobile TCR's I look at on Google look to be full carbon. I had a new headset fitted late last year and the specific part was an FSA headset for the OCR, similar issue with those as OCR all look to be aluminum on images.

Obviously I want to list the bike as accurately as possible, if anybody knows what it is I would really appreciate it (it is still T-mobile liveried I just covered them with vinyl for a bit of a change). Thanks in advance.

Paintjob is unfamiliar, but frame looks very "SCR 3.0" to me.

Possible to contact Giant UK, or their distributor, and check the frame number?

Thanks for that....Geometry does look like the SCR from Google images.

Cannot find a number or email for Giant UK so have emailed 3 of their stores, see if they can help.

There are loads of images on Google of Giant T-mobile but can't seem to see one exactly the same with any details listed.

Seems to be a 2005 TCR Advanced according to Bikepedia http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?...

Giant Sheffield have also contacted Giant UK HQ to see if they can confirm the exact model from the serial number.

TCR in your link has different forks and the seat tube is shaped for the rear wheel to get closer.

Wonder whether this was the bike that your was painted to look like?

Good spot, didn't notice that....looking closer the badge on the front of the headtube is also different.

Appears it could be a version of this frame http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?...

It's painted in the T-Mobile colours as they supplied the team for a number of years, so that should help you get closer to the year.

Great service from the Giant stores, emailed a couple of them with the serial number. Although they couldn't find it on their system they contacted Giant UK HQ and they came back with the following description:

'The colourway on this bike says it’s a 2005 bike. In that year that was available in the UK as all T-mobile TCR. It is a Hybrid frame(half carbon
half aluminium) with carbon fork TCR T-mobile'

That will do me, at least I can list on FleaBay as a TCR with confidence.
