I have found a box of old watches after a house purchase in Belgium and was wondering if any are worth keeping

The first is this Seiko Spode timer, has 6139 6032 on the back works and keeps good time,

Has two bracelets but has a small piece missing that hides the pin on one side.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that is very nice, seiko watches of this era are very desirable, collectable and do have a value. If anything they are undervalued IMO.

It is hard to put a value on the watch, does it work? Have a look on the seiko thread on here. I have a fair few vintage seiko's , this one is worth keeping.

What else did you find ?

Stick it on ebay. It should get 200-300 quid. They are much nicer than the Seiko 5s of today.

Thanks for the replys

Yes, it works perfect, the inner dial turns smoothly, the second hand resets and has kept perfect time over the last two days.

How do I alter the day and date and is it with sending back to Seiko for a service ect ?

I'll post another thread on all the other old Seiko, omega, citizen and Casio wathces if found.

Those Seiko's usually go for around £150-£200 on eBay. I bought a race timer last year which was of a similar style for £140. Few people will care about the bracelet as most are sold on replacement bracelets or straps (mine came on a replacement jubilee).

They aren't specifically collectable as say a bullhead or some of the divers may be but they are good quality watches and of an interesting style so still worth something.
