These are great. I'd just started driving when there were a lot about and always liked them. Nearly bought one, but by the time I could afford one (c. 1996), un-tweaked ones were hard to come by.

Regardless of the bonnet vents, it's hard to find one that's not (a) rotten, and (b) been raped with modifications. I like that a lot.

I had one of these about 20 years ago. Great fun until the head gasket went. Interesting handling with much fun with lift off oversteer.

Not many around that look like this. Top purchase.

I've had 2, a solid yellow one that I paid £450 for in 2001 with a cracked liner, and a rotten black one that I bought for £650 that went like buggery. Those days of cheap prices are far far away unfortunately, it seems you need £3k+ just to get into something that can pass an MOT.
