anglesey race last saturday/sunday

i was there, never seen the tasmin challange, but i have now, they look like pretty good fun, i also noticed a lime green tasmin with 'pistonheads.com' below the rear side window

Was there too with Graham and his Taz (The red topless one that with the white bonnet) [The one that span in race 2 ] The racing was actually very tame. Normally there's much more carnage! The grid was also pretty small

Well the lime green car was mine and the bit with Pistonheads.com was the only bit not rebuilt after Oulton Park. Mundane it was not I won for goodness sake (my first ever win. Hope you get along to Silverstone which should be intersesting since it is all about power and balls through the corners

Well done on the win Jon It looked a good race from a drivers point of view, lots of cars close together. Maybe its because the only two races I've seen so far involved lots of smashed glass fibre, which made it luck tame.

It was an interesting weekend two crap qualifying sessions and two fun races

qually 1 the plug lead fairy only gave me 3 cylinders

race one, starting from the back got a crap start then fought back to 10th, closing on the pack but took too long to get past the others to have the time to catch them

qually 2 in the rain my wipers packed up after 2 laps so came in as i couldnt see where i was going..


race 2 another crap grid position, got up to 7th and in the middle of a 4 car battle, Kevan decided to tap me into a spin ( paint to prove it ) then t-bone me for good measure) mmm last again and had to fight back to 9th....

interestingly the times at the front were slightly slower than last year, but the rest of the pack has caught up... my times this year would have been good enough for a couple of podiums last year...

oh well off to silverstone... (matt you coming?)

p.s. i did have ph stickers on the bonnet but that got bust at oulton....

I was the one standing under the clock tower with the rose in my teeth. I was actually the bloke driving the car so come and say hello.

Well Silverstone had a bit of fibreglass and some of it was mine again. Come to Snetterton, its all about power and balls through the corners (is there an echo here!!)
