Dont get too excited, you need to buy an expensive one first.

If I ran another Maserati for 18k miles a year, the fuel alone would cost approx £4500. that means if you ran those business miles on a 45mpg oil burner @ £1500 for fuel, you would have £3000 a year to run that vehicle. Insurance & tax aside that would leave you £250 a month for a lease car ( not a great one but average !).Take into consideration the depraciation value of 18000 miles per year on the mas and wear and tear items I think it would be wholly justifiable to run the 2 cars for around the same cost.

Anyone done this exercise to a more exhaustive conclusion ?

The sums do add up, although looking at it as a free car might be overdoing things, and you have the downside of having to drive a dull car regularly.

I'm considering a similar plan, on much more limited budget, to get myself into some swisher wheels.
