Hope I am in the right forum! I am thinking about changing the family wagon and fancied something flair and always wanted a 110 Station Wagon (90 too small for family and dogs, 130 too big). Don't understand the difference between the various folks out there like Twisted and Bespoke. also concerned most of the value can be stripped off with a screwdriver!

Thoughts and recommendations welcome

I don't understand them either, in the same way that I have no idea why anyone would chose a onesie or a shell suit.

I would imagine the more crap that's stripped off the more tasteful they will become. wink

For me, apart from a sensible remap the only mods defenders should have are ones that improve its go anywhere nature.
21" alloys and low profile tyres tell me the person has more money than sense, I liken it to putting off-road tyres on a Caterham.

Lol. Love the idea of some ratty old defender driving farmer in a onesie! Thanks for the comments

There are a few engine tweakers out there and the Transit engine seems to respond well though don't know if any is better than others.

Understand engine upgrade, sound proofing and underbody sealing all minimum. Rest is up for grabs

Better seats and steering wheel is the first step then loud stereo. Nothing else until you go off road then tyres.
