Got one of the above - battery run out - quoted about £400 to send back for service/batteries.
Is there anywhere in the UK that will replace the batteries for a better price or will I have to send it off? Clearly needs to know what they are doing ! but helpfully less then £400 !

any recommendations please?

Thx

Variomatic on here is your man. He recently replaced battery and serviced my Breitling Aerospace. Give him a PM and I'm sure he'll sort you out.

Aren't Emergency's a more complicated issue to deal with?

It might be as simple a swap as the Aerospace, but I'm sure I read there were specific issues (related to the 'radio') that made it more challenging...

Changing the batteries isn't a problem - as long as you're not stupid enough to deploy the aerial while doing them - but it does take 3 (assuming you want the transmitter ones done as well as the time). That does push them up to £30 inc post I'm afraid frown

Hi Joe

If your happy to replace the batteries on the watch and transmitter that would be great. Happy to pay £100 as I know setting up a new shop is expensive.

Just post it out to you ok? I will get it insured and signed for etc.

Thanks

Yep, not a problem. No need to over-pay on the price quoted but, if you felt like adding a donation to our RBL pot that's always appreciated smile

Worth bearing in mind that we're closed for a week from 28th Jan (next Thurs) because my wife's in for an operation on her foot and, knowing her, if I don't chain her to the bed for a few days afterwards she'll be overdoing it and messing up their work.

If it arrives before that then should be able to turn it round same day, or if you'd prefer to hold on to it until after we should be back on 5th Feb.

Thanks after the 5th feb sounds sensible. Will drop a line before I send in Feb. Hope the wife's foot recovers.
