VW V5 (AGZ) do I need a new coil pack?
Discussion
This morning my Bora V5 (AGU engine) was misfiring and I lifted the bonnet to see arcing around the point where the HT leads plug in to the coil pack.
Will I get away with replacing just the leads, or does it look as though I need a coil pack too?
The yellow mark indicates where it was arcing - I suspect the coil pack may be cracked
but it's not cheap, so I was hoping otherwise... (trying to save money as just had cambelt done in Skoda too)...

Just to update this, 3 years or so later!
The coil pack finally gave up the ghost this past week, with yellow sparks all over the place and lots of misfiring.
I never did replace the leads, each time it 'played up' I just cleaned the around the plug leads and the coil pack with WD40.
However last week this just wouldn't do, and I actually had to nurse the car home.
I replaced the coil pack this morning, and the old one is full of cracks (see picture).
Just posting this for anyone else having this issue.

Just ordered a set for my PoverTT, 130 quid, sometimes think leasing a new car may actually be cheaper, I am on an 1100 spend since i got it last September.
PoverTT??I've had the Bora since May 2015 and I think it's cost me close to that since then.
Things I remember off the top of my head:
Blower fan / motor
Cooling fan (original was seized - bought it like that!)
Tie rod (or some long rod that went into the rack)
Front ball joint
2x top mounts
Aux belt + tensioner
Driveshaft (old one snapped!)
Oil filter housing (butchered by mechanic at some point with stripped thread)
4x replacement speakers
Camshaft sensor
Coil pack
Battery
4x tyres (as with every used car I've ever bought - the tyres were shot)
+servicing of course.
There's probably more that I've forgotten....

I suppose that's not too bad for nearly three years of ownership of a 19 year old car with 134k miles on it...
It's certainly gone through less money than my E39 BMW 523...
