Racesports Peninsula TVR T400-R listed on today's ACO's "definitely" attending.

Does that mean it recieved automatic entry?

well thats one definite TVR, unfortunately i want to see TVR's battling at the front and if racesports LMES results are anything to go by, they will be there at the end but near the back. im just hoping that team LNT's run at sebring will be stunning and we will see two T400's pedalled by some seriously quick drivers (hughes, kane, hynes etc) at LM!

nope. You only get an "automatic entry" based on your performance at the race last year...

I agree about the comments about it not being a front runner. It sounds harsh, but I don't think the car's up to it. Bear in mind that the Racesports car is the very first "Tuscan R" that was built for the 2001 season. I know it's undergone hundreds of changes, but it's just not as quick as the LNT cars (any of the 4...).

I wish them the best of luck tho, I'd like nothing better than for them to prove me wrong

At the moment it would appear they have gained an automatic entry.

Not sure how, as they haven't achieved the necessary results in LMES. Still, they have history at LM from the Morgan project, which must carry some weight.

So might there be three TVR's at Le Mans this year then ,assuming both LNT cars make the cut .

id really hope LNT get put in. the amount of money they are putting in by the sounds of it, with some serious testing and development work and going to sebring, and the calibre of drivers they've bought in this year! i mean they are looking for podiums and wins this year they said

I believe Chamberlain-Synergy have an option on an entry because they did Le Mans last year. They will be there with their new prototype Lola LMP2.

Team LNT should also get an entry with the 2 TVR T400's more details are here www.teamlnt.com

And the DeWalt TVRs

I stand by my point tho that although this is a "sure" entry, it's still not an automatic entry. The list on DSC has *** by the "automatic" entrys.

I hope TVR are there this year for sure.

My first trip to LM wouldn't be the same if there were no Tivs to cheer on.

There were some spec differences between the Racesports and LNT cars last year... but the Racesports car was always quicker in a straight line and I understand there's been some serious updates over the winter...
The leaked entry list shows that the Racesports car is in. The LNT's may be added to the list later or not at all... new teams aren't usually that welcome at LM until they've proved themselves for a while...
Any clue (for a small proposal I'm writing) how many TVR's are likely to go to Le Mans this year? I saw a figure of 1200 in '03 and 100,000 Brits.
Now I reckon with Astons return it'll be 140,000 Brits... so how many will be cheering the TVR (s)?
Cheers
