Interesting concept. The first "luxury" brand to dip their toes of late.
I'd like to see what it brings but I fail to see what it will offer over an above a £150 LG smartwatch. Yes, the case will be nice and use premium materials, but functionality wont be over an above Android standards.
I wont be buying one, I think it's another Tag niche like their reading glasses and mobiles.

It'll just mean that in two years you will get a £1100 discount on a new TAG Heuer (probably only over a specific value at which you could get a good discount anyway) But I haven't read the details
Ive been trying to find a release date, as going into town today and was hoping to get one, do you kndw a specific uk date?
Also has anyone managed to see what the watch looks like that can be bought in two years time, initially it read as though you could pick from a selection(but no details of what the selection is), but it now seems as though it will only be one limited edition watch.
Just want to make sure i will like the look of the mechanical wtch otherwise the usp is of no value.
Last question,maybe, is i have an iphone, i can see that the phone will work on ios but that i need google play to get more smart watch apps, would it be possible to use my old nexus 7 to get the apps onto the watch then reconnect to the iphone and still have the apps.
It seems strange to me the the faq section on the tag site does not cover this, any help would be appreciated

I have my name down with a TAG dealer to call me when they are in and he reckons the end of November so not too long to wait.
I too have an iPhone and will need to pair the watch with it. To work with iOS will require downloading Android Wear from the App Store. It is limited functionality compared to an Android watch so Google iOS with Android Wear to see if you can live with the limitations. I can
As I understand, you will not be able to get iOS to support other Google Play apps but this doesn't bother me.
Also TAG are saying its a limited initial release (well they would wouldn't they) which is why I have registered my interest with a dealer.
Went into the store but they didnt have any real information though, they are going to ask a few questions and get back to me tuesday or Thursday.
They did suggest that the option to buy the other watch may extend to a deal on a newer version of the smart watch as well as the mechanical option, which to me would make sense both in a lets keep the audience kind of way and also seems smart to not mention a second model until you know how the first has been recieved.
