Two Championship Managers Fired...
Discussion
That well known rent-a-gob Troy Townsend hasn't taken long to coment on the dismissal yesterday of two football managers in the Championship.
Chris Powell was fired by Huddersfield after three wins all season while Chrs Ramsey got the tin tack from QPR after they dropped into the bottom half of the table despite having multi millions to spend and a huge squad.
But of course Townsend was quick to point out their colour as is his style.

Why doesn't someone ask him to shut the f*** up? Sick and tired of the race card being played all the time when it comes to BME managers.

I can understand that we need to ensure their are equal opportunities for all people from what ever their ethnic background to have a role in football, and I think in the UK we do do that.
Why doesn't he just look at the results of these too managers and think well actually they are fired because they haven't performed as expected. Comments like his can actually end up having a negative impact, and will turn people away from the sport.

I've never heard of Troy Townsend.
Lucky you.
He's the father of out-of-favour Spud Andros Townsend and a big cheese at "Kick It Out!".
Like someone said to me on Twitter, chances are he was sacked after a conversation with the likes of Tony Hernandes and Les Ferdinand so to wave the race card seems to be a futile gesture.
