Coccyx pain, any cure?

I have been suffering from a painfull coccyx for a while now, its got to a point where hurts too much to ride. Ive been to the Doc and all they can offer is anti inflamatories as there isnt a lot that can be done with it.

All of my bikes have similar saddles from WTB and are as level as I can get them.

Has anyone experienced tail bone pain and managed to cure it? Im desperate to get back in the saddle, off this weekend to be sized for a Spesh BG saddle to see if that will help.

Any other pointers would be appreciated.

Coccyx is surely too high up to be in saddle contact.

I wouldn't bother going to the doctors just go and see a specialist sports/cycling specialist phsyio and they should be able see whats going on. I know of a couple very good in London if your based here.

I broke my coccyx while snowboarding a few years ago. It was agony for 6 months, but gradually got better and now gives me no trouble at all. It's actually a spinal injury, so it hurts like hell.

Time is the best healer.
