I used to use a turbo trainer many years ago for intervals, and have just bought another as a dodgy back means the rower is out of bounds.
I used to use an old times watch and a polar HR, however I could do with buying a bike computer for when I am on the road.
Is there a bike computer that would time intervals and give HR, or any other advice on managing sessions?
Thanks
Gareth

I use my Garmin Edge 500 for that, as you can programme workouts into it, it's a lot better than trying to remember how many you have done, and because it's a preset amount it keeps you going as I get to the point I want to stop, but it calls for another and off we sprint again. Records all of it, you can programme it to be based on time, speed, cadence, heart rate or power. It's really very versatile.

Thanks, I'll take a look at one, did my first session tonight for many years, used an app on the I pad for timing, was going well until no 8!

Two questions for this:

1) What trainer do you have
2) Do you use a smart phone?
