I think I married an angel / Gallardo hire
Discussion
Just got off the phone to the missus. Recovered from shock and composed myself as I have to work for the next hour. Turns out she has quietly organized a Gallardo hire car for our anniversary weekend, and it's gonna be delivered to me here at Canary Wharf at 18:30. I could think of worse ways of getting home The long way
So, anyone who's had the pleasure want to give me some pointers on how to enjoy driving somebody else's Gallardo whilst also managing to keep it out of a ditch all weekend? Pics to follow in due course, naturally....

Jesus fceking H christ, these cars are quick aren't they! Took me 40 mins to find the requisite cojones to hang on to full throttle all the way through 2nd (its wet after all), then ran out of revs quicker than I'd expected; cue rev limiter
Now feeling almost comfortable with it, not pushed too hard through the bends but there's certainly a lot of "ability" in there. Feels essentially very friendly, useable and compliant so far. A dark, wet, Thursday evening on the A13 is hardly the best place to get to know a 500bhp supercar but the fact it feels so useable and I've been able to sample a full 2nd,3rd,4th gear accelerative dose speaks volumes for the car. Can't wait for some proper dry B roads over the next few days
But my god is it fast Oh, and it LOVES the old SuperUL

Steve, it was difficult for me to keep quiet on Sunday - I already knew she had things organised for you
You're a lucky man
