997 4GTS PCM Ipod Issue

Collected the GTS today and bought and ipod touch for my music.

It is obviously relatively easy to connect, which has been done, however there doesn't appear to be any options for 'playlists' (which there are on the ipod). I only seem able to pick by 'artist', 'genre', 'abums'

Am I doing something wrong ?

Sorted. Apparently I needed a specific porsche lead and then a lightening adaptor to connect to the latest apple products (new connection type).

All ordered.

Make sure you order the expensive genuine Apple adaptor (old connection to lightning) as I tried with 2 non genuine adaptors in my GTS and neither worked. Genuine works perfectly.

Yep, have done. As well as a genuine PCM adaptor (which I believe originally came with the car but don't seem to have it).

Porsche leads often go wrong and they pinch them from one of the used car stock.
