subaru uk 215 bhp 1999 turbo more power

Go and see Power Engineering in Uxbridge.
They'll re-map the engine ECU (rather than a straightforward one chip does all approach, they map your individual car)
You should see significant torque gains and a reasonable bhp gain.
The only problem may be, as you add more tunable bits later, you'll need to remap the ecu to get the full effect of these mods.

I've got a UK MY00 and had it from new. Car was Rollin roaded at P.E with 221BHP / 216lb/ft Torque.....
Next came the backbox, centrepipe and down pipe all decatted. This gave 243BHP / 237lb/ft
Then to P.E for a Tek2 Ecutek replacement ECU..... now 270BHP / 260lb/ft
Finally changed the intercooler for an STI version.. guessing there should be 275BHP / 265lb/ft minimum now..
Haven't touched the induction/Filter system for fear of a MAF sensor failure
