Where's my new Audi thread gone? Posted in the Audi section.

Posted it as a wiki by accident but couldn't see how to change it. Mods just binned the whole thing? Couldn't you have just changed it??

The monster truck, as fun as it was, wasn't turning out to be a very useful car to take the dog out in so,

Bought (what I think) will be a more sensible car today. A 2001 a4 avant with the 1.8t engine. It's got:

FSH
104k
Sport trim
18" Audi spider? Wheels
Full leather
Sunroof
Lots of speakers as standard.
Auto/tip box

Never driven one until today and still don't know what to think. It didn't make any untoward noises, no clunking, etc. From what I've read, they're fairly bullet proof. I'm hoping.

Few questions,
What marque is it - b5 or b6?
Is there anything I'll need to get checked/done asap?
The front arb bushes got pulled on the MOT in August, advisory to be replaced at some point - what's that going to cost?

And any other advice would be happily received.

One thing I was surprised about was the fact that's it's only 30 cheaper to insure than my M3. Not sure why.

Just hope the dog likes it.
