Clasic Car & Transport Show Sat/Sun 2nd & 3rd July

I thought it would be good fun to enter our cars at the upcoming “Classic Car & Transport Show” that is held at The Hop Farm Country Park situated between Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells) over the weekend of the 2nd & 3rd of July 2005
Most of you no doubt have attended before but for those that have not, it is in my opinion a great venue for the smart & other interesting cars and more importantly it is well run with adequate facilities that include the camping arrangements. Put your tent up next to your car in the allocated space for the club and dismantle it as early as required the next day before other cars and public arrive. Also the Hop Farm has its own attractions suitable for families.
Cost is minimal, £3 per car/entry; I remember it being more per day for the public than our entry fee for the two days.
If you would like to attend simply send me an email & I'll send you a scan copy of the application form or contact the organiser on 01922 643385 or visit www.transtarpromotions.co.uk direct and you can download it, to join our pitch add S2Crew to 'name of club'.
You are most welcome to join a bunch of mad modoified smart owners or set up hsvdrivers club stand yourselves, thought the smart & the holden would compliment each other as they have nothing in common.

Hi Jagsy,
I just spotted the other thread about events, and then the thread about Santa Pod.
I am hoping to scare up some Fabulous Fordies for this year, including the two Mad Max cars. I doubt mine will have arrived, but ... stranger things.
If you want a stand, the closing date is 7th May, 2005, and the contact is David Pratt;
david@pratt4440.fsnet.co.uk for club entries.
Club restriction is 15 cars.
There is a scenic fun run of about 70 miles on the Saturday, starting at 1100, if you are interested.
Hope that helps.
