I was lucky enough to get a 355 GTB this weekend as a hire car.

what a great time - fantastic noise and well balanced poise on the road - really easy to feel at home with.

however....

how do you guys put up with....
1) such a rubbish agricultural gear change?
2) scubbing the bottom on the slightest of sleeping policeman
3) morons what come out of the woodwork asking if its a ferrari!

really really loved the experience but for my every other day car i'll be sticking with the 993

If only i had more space....and money.... :-(

Well you certainly got your monies worth The gear change is actually very slick once you let the gear box oil warm up. From cold it's a bit notchy. The ground clearance is a problem, car only has 4 inches at the front. ALL humps need to be approached at zero speed. The attention is hard to get used to, i agree.

It's certainly a bit notchy from cold, but coming from a Noble it's bliss when warm! Oh and the "klak klak" noise makes me grin like an idiot

Same as the guys above.

The attention's always (thus far in my experience) well intentioned, so I don't mind it. But as one mate said - it wouldn't pay to drive around in your bat suit.
