I have been offered a Felt F6 Frame for £100. Can anyone say whether this is a good deal. I am considering using it as a winter bike/commuter and from what I have read the F6's seem to be a decent bike but with a basic group set. Group set aside, as this is frame only, do you think this is a deal?

I am not sure on the year but it is a matt black exposed carbon frame which I think is 2014.

haha. you aren't missing a Felt F6 frame are you?

It has been hung up in his garage for some time now after filling the rest of his garage up with a plethora of MTB's. All above board your honour!

You can but a new one for £780 with all the nice bits already attached. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/felt-f6-2015/

My guess is that unless you already have the other stuff lying arround in your garage, this could prove to be quite expensive. I am sure the frame will be good, the question is can you buy bits as cheaply as Felt, or any other manufacturer. I am fairly certain that the answer will be no.

So you could probably but a similar spec bike second hand complete and make an even better saving.
