I've been semi-binge watching Alpha House, American political comedy starring John Goodman among others. Excellent stuff, and some good looking women in it too, which is always welcome.

Bosch - I really enjoyed it. Police detective in LA thriller
Well made, well acted and very true to the character from the books, which are also excellent.

Tourettes de France - Keith Allen takes a bunch of Tourettes sufferers over to France on a double decker bus to the place where it was first diagnosed. I know you shouldn't laugh, but fk me it was funny.

Battlefield Earth is on there.

It's scathing reviews are completely justified, but it's surprisingly watchable. John Travolta in a very different role.

If it's raining where you are, grab a decent drink and stick it on! biggrin

Black sails was good, vickings I enjoyed (available from other sources) extant and Bosch get my vote.

There were also a lot of Amazon pilots that I really enjoyed but still waiting for the follow-ups smile

Halt and catch fire was an interesting series for those interested in the early years of PC's.

The Man in the High Castle was an excellent pilot, well worth a watch and it's certainly been picked up for a full season. Based on a Philip K Dick story set in a world where Japan and Germany won WW2.

The Hundred Year old Man who climbed out of a Window and disappeared is a nice little movie.

I went into geek mode and watched Beta's. Surprisingly watchable as long as you switch your brain off first.

Yep, really good, good script, good cgi. And bloody hell you would not want to be on the reciving end of a Spanish warships guns, oh and the now usual boobies thrown in.

I think they have already been mentioned, but Black sails & Bosch have been good. I've also found Extant, Klondike, Revolution & Defiance to be great.

I'm happy the man in the high castle is getting a full series, the pilot was excellent.

We have been watching Revolution, quite good, bit obviously but at least the ladies are pleasant on the eye.

Likewise. I have just found out how to download Prime films and TV shows to my ipod to watch when I don't have wifi, like on the train.

Getting some tyres fitted at the weekend so need something to watch while im waiting.

Been Looking forward to Man in a High Castle. Outlander was great.

Black sails, Orphan black etc. thought were tedious as hell. Horses for courses, I guess.

I watched the pilot for Man in the High Castle the other night after seeing good reviews. Really liked it, but gutted I have to wait for the series.
