Yes I just noticed that whilst looking up the qualifying times. What class/formula are those cars built to? Formula Noddy? When did that change then? 2003’s race had 996 GT3’s, 360’s, Moslers, Corvettes and Saleens on the grid.
Edit: And didn't an Audi R8 win it a few years back?

This one is just vile. I think it's the American's wanting to dotheir own thing instead of all these European cars winning all the time so they changed the rules to only allow those designed by Jed Clampett and powered by moonshine.
Yes I know this one is powered by Lexus.....actually that says about all it needs to......Lexus, whooo there's a racing name to conjure with.....

The Crawford DP03 (orange car in the first pic) doesn't look too bad from some angles, although it's far from pretty. The rest are vile. Why do the rooflines have to be so high? It's a sportscar FFS, not a bus. They only have about 410bhp as well. The 911 GT3's etc race in a pretty restricted form IIRC,so they don't have a chance of winning outright. In spite of all this, Grand Am seems to be taking it's toll on the ALMS. Stange bunch, Americans
