Bike fit - SW London
Discussion
Having been setting up my own bikes for about 15 years, I've got to the point where I'm starting to get niggles here and there so thought I'd go for a bike fit and see what they changed. Any recommendations for SW London please? I know Pearson and Sigma have decent reps but I'd rather go to somewhere based on personal recommendation.
Secondly, I'm currently having physio on my knee, is it better to wait until that's finished before I get a fit? The thinking being that if I'm covering for an injury, I may not be riding how I usually would?
Thanks.

I would personally recomend these guys: http://www.ten-point.co.uk/
More biased toward triathlon/TT fit, but will do road bike too.
I've not had a Retul fit, but from hearing about others it seems as if essentially they're just looking to slot you into a set bunch of values/range of angles, which potentially may not work for everyone.
Ten Point was much more bespoke, and you're set up on a rig and basically played around with until an optimal position is found, taking into account your range of movement. This is done pretty much through trial and error in finding a position, cycling in said position while the fitter makes tweaks, you and the fitter then decided if the move was too much, too little etc. While I was there we also went through cleat setup, crank lengths, and various saddles to decide an optimum.
I did it for TT fit while I was doing triathlon, so went through lots of front end setups in order to find something comfortable and hopefully quick, but they lend themselves equally to road setup.
The end result of my fit (which was pre-purchase) was a list of suitable stack and reach measurements, and a list of suitable frames which I could make work for me. In the end I bought the frame that was suggested, and was instantly comfortable. I ended up doing two IM bike legs on that fit (comfortably), as well as a half IM bike leg as part of a relay most recently (3rd fastest bike split), so upwards of 5/2.5hrs in aero positon.

Simon Jackson @ Cadence in Crystal Palace was recommended to me. After a successful fit 6 months ago which has fixed all issues I had (knees, numb toes, lower back ache in particular) and arguably made me faster from a more efficient position on the bike, I'm happy to recommend him on!

Which fit did you have? There seems to be more than one on their website.teambeer said:
