Ha, you could have at least lived up to the hyperbole in the press and posted a couple pictures of your preferable female neighbours bedroom!

Finally got my 3DR Solo up in the air today - Bloody clever machine. Still waiting for the 3 axis gimble. This is just the first pic out - my neighbours house. (yes, him)

Have you an ETA on the gimbal?

I would really like to hear your thoughts on the gimbal. My H43D on the P2 is rock solid, however I've limited use of my right hand/arm and I can't do smooth pans etc.

I really like the idea of the cable cam and orbit functions on the Solo.

Re pics... the top one is a great pic. Slightly under exposed. Push the exposure up a notch, and add a bit of colour vibrance.

ETA... If you want, feel free to send me a larger file and I'll do said things... so you can see what I mean.

Make sure you post some video when it arrives.... I'm really set on getting a Solo if the gimbal is as good as the H43D and I can keep the landing legs out of the video.

This was a composite of about 5 other photos to make it look higher than it was (not the original so looks a bit low res). I used to run a business doing aerial photography / video with quads / hexacopters but we stopped doing it a year and a half ago as the market was getting saturated. Still love seeing some nice aerials

I was looking at upgrading my Phantom 2 Vision+ to the Phantom 3 Pro...but already owning a GoPro 4 Black and seeing the footage the 3dr Solo can get with the gimbal I am definitely reconsidering!
