Looking at changing my Boxster S to a Maserati 3200GT.

I read a good few posts here, I think that with depreciation and current prices, one get great value for quality, brand and power.

I have a specific question, the 3200GT is 4 cm wider than the Boxster, my garage can take it but it is tight to get in, are the side mirrors collapsible ?

Thanks

Hi Gulliver,
Not sure if all Mirrors are collapse but mine do and it does help getting into the garage.
The Car is wider but quite easy to navigate.
A great car for the whole package but Dont touch the ASR Button in the Wet !!!

I'm sure they all fold in - at the touch of a button.

Otherwise, a good boot should do the trick!!

Yeah at 380£ a pop for a mirror, I think I will cover my garage entrance pillars in velvet !!

I am a continental driver living in Ireland, I bought my Boxster in Germany, and think I am going to get the 3200GT straight in Italy.

I am now quite hellbent for it after much research....

Just a word of caution - I wouldn't advise you folding the mirrors in to get through any tight spot! - They only protrude about an inch further than the back wings and I'm sure they'd cost more to repair than a scratched or broken mirror. I tend to only fold mine in once parked up in the garage so I dont knock them when walking past it.
