Goodbye V12V; Hello 12 C
Discussion
Firstly, may I say a huge hello to all of you ladies and gents on the forum; I feel very privileged to have become a member of such a special fraternity!
Following a wonderful 6 year period of owning several Aston Martin's, I finally succumbed to temptation and traded in my 2013 Stratus White V12 Vantage and collected the 2012 Volcano Red 12 C on Saturday, McLaren Ascot. Nearly two hundred miles covered this sunny weekend.....and well, you all know what it's about!!
The V12 Vantage was and indeed is a great car, the McLaren is simply a sublime piece of machinery!
Anyway, all I wanted to do was introduce myself and say just "Hello"
Kind regards,
Jonathan

Thank you all for the congrats and friendly welcome, I'm sincerely flattered
Couldn't wait to get home tonight and take it out for a "driving miss daisy" run, damn its so easy!...I must admit no car I've owned has ever received so much positive emotion from members of the public... the brand, colour, I don't know? Whatever, I'm just elated.
Thanks again for the welcome, I certainly want to catch up with you!!
Also thank you for the advice on buying- I have lurked for a while and taken onboard a lot of information, resulting in my 3000 mile beauty.

In theory even SELON should be speaking with you now as he has secured a deal on a VR car
Yes I found so easy to drive one of my first impressions.

Yes indeed Mikey, seems to be a natural progression, (although "her in doors" doesn't quite understand)

not mine, though to be honest, after owning a few Astons , one expects gremlins- albeit my last one was a trouble free car...( apart from the numerous official throttle lever recalls)..
I noticed you had a few gremlins. Did they get the better of you ?

Sounds like that's my old McLaren. Is it on a 64 plate?
