Hi everyone, just posting this for a friend whos panicking over her boyfriends birthday. She wants to get him an F40 track day. The F40 is the only one he's interested in, as I know there are loads of other Ferrari track days available. They live in Scotland, but am sure they are willing to travel to anywhere reasonable (i.e. within the UK) if there is one available. So anyone know of a track day where you get behind the wheel of the lovely F40?? Cheers in advance!

I would be amazed if there was a day for an F40. The maintenance costs would be so huge it would cost well over a grand to go on.

I think he may have to lower his sights to the usual 328 / 355 / 360 selection.

I'd get a full Palmersport day at Bedford. Not cheap but you get to drive some hugely fast cars that would obliterate an F40 on track and you get to give them the full beans not just 6 laps with a 4000 rpm limit that you seem to get on some other days.

Could try asking around on www.ferrarichat.com to see if anyone with an F40 would be prepared to help out.

It does seem like a long shot though

IIRC a couple of americans from fchat on vacation in europe have hired this www.special-cars.de/ f40 in germany. I'm 99% sure this is the only place you can hire one in the world. Your looking at some serious money, their enzo needs a £50,000 deposit & the F40 £8,000!
