Thinking about buying a Testarossa - does anyone own one and could enlighten me asto the joys of ownership and the problems?

SteveF owns one, the later 512M.

You would be better over on ferrarichat.com as quite a few of the regular posters have them.

On the whole, great cars and from what i understand pretty reliable... but, if anything does need replacing it's going to be more expensive on the 12 than it is on the 8s.

When I let mine go in 18 months or so then I will be looking at a Testarossa... I mean... it's the one we all had posters of as kids wasn't it.

Tezzas are beautiful

Worth looking at the 512TR though 1990-1994 - basically a Testarossa with the niggles ironed out - better interior ergonomics, and wing mirrors both sides

That's the one I'll be after

I'm not keen on the look of the later 512Ms - I think it's the clear headlamp covers that spoil it for me.
