Ever wonder where your dog finds socks? We try to keep ours in drawers etc due to many casualties with holes in but yet everytime i come home the little buggers have found some somewhere and they are only in the kitchen!
I save all the socks with holes in, tie them in knots, shove them inside each other & use them as dog toys. Lucky loves tearing them to shreds & has learnt not to steal socks she hasn't been given, most of the time anyway.
my old cat Fitz used to steal my slipper socks, I was always getting out of bed in the mornings and finding only one sock next to it. I didn't mind it just added to his quirky character
My cocker finds it harder now the kids are older & wiser. I've been moving a lot of soil in our back garden recently, found a number of socks, fabric hair thingies & other stuff buried!
Oddly he has never touched my socks which are left in the kitchen where he sleeps.
