55 S which I have had from new and with full OPC service history. 85k miles to date. Driving to work this morning when engine had reduced power on acceleration. The yellow engine warning light lit up with message sayign attend workshop. Warning light/message went off after a few seconds. I pulled over, shut down and restarted and had no further problems on 20 min drive to work. Fyuel tank 3/4 full of Shell 95 filled up 3 days ago. The car had suspension work done at OPC yesterday and was faultless on drive home (40 mins motorway and A roads). Spoke to OPC and was advised either to bring it in stat or wait and see...
It's in the last year of Porsche warranty. Any thoughts from those who know about these things?

Thanks newboy9997. I had a new O2 sensor a year or so ago because the engine warning light came on. It didn't affect performance though, unlike today's episode. Not long till hometime so I will see if it happens again.....
These things really undermine one's confidence in the car but I guess that's life with a 10y old Porker. Still a fab car in all respects.

Thanks cmoose. The tech at OPC this morning said that plugging it into the dignostics might not pick it up as it was transient...
No problems on drive home just now. I think that I will book it in anyway. Maybe it's time to let it go if unreliability is creeping in. Trouble is I've had £k of work done this year on front springs, shocks and rear brakes so I'm reluctant to change. The eternal dilemma!
