PC gone silly!

We all see and hear the Govt/police "newspeak" with PC terms like "safety cameras" and "safety partnerships" but I was looking in the Argos catalogue this morning (I need to get out more!) and they are selling a radar detector.
This is however no ordinary Radar Detector oh no, this is the "Snooper S1 premier series safety alert system"
There is no direct mention of detecting radar to avoid being nicked in fact the description says "Offers complete protection for the driver by alerting them to accident hot-spots commonly monitored by Gatso Safety Cameras. Compact design. Long range detection ideal for the conscientous driver."
well it made me laugh anyway!
Could have been written by a Politician with his spin cycle on reverse!
