Thoughts on this 997 GT3, please
Discussion
My initial thought was surprise at the price but then I saw the mileage and looked through the others for sale.
Looks like if you want a low mileage 997 GT3 for around that price with an OPC warranty then it looks spot on!
Crazy to think how prices have changed. When I bought my 997.1 GT3 my dream 997.2 RS was around £89k!

I have a black 997.1 GT3 non-clubsport.
The car in the linked add is low miles but also a fairly basic spec - I notice it has Sat Nav but no chrono, has the standard basic seats.
Mine also has the standard seats and I find them fine on both road and track and sport chrono adds nothing really.
Ground clearance - they really are very low with the standard splitter, I can just about get my toes in a shoe under the front of mine. The problem is compounded by the distance from the front axle line to the front edge of the splitter - they catch on some very innocent looking gradients. I suspect you would have to do something to your drive or you will shred the front very quickly. Dont mean to be negative - but mine has caught several times when I wasnt expecting it, I have a standard drop curb but with a small incline and I have to go slowly and get the right angle or it catches the road surface! I often dont take the car somewhere if I know there will be speed bumps on the way - which is rubbish really.
Great car though and I think spec depends on what you want to do with it. Tracks days - I would aim for clubsport for harnesses and cage + ceramics, if you want to do more touring then a standard car is fine, mine has a sunroof which I love as it lets more noise in! I think ceramics are good for either as they give better steering feel and much less brake dust!

It's big money for a Gen1 when I consider I purchased mine in 2012 (in near identical comfort spec) for £60k - but times have definitely changed and that's where the market is for a low miles OPC warrantied car it would seem...Anyway go for it, you're highly unlikely to take a bath depreciation-wise and it'll put a big smile on your face the first time you give it the beans!

I don't think the spec is complete in the pistonheads ad or the Porsche site. I "think" it has full leather option, as the door card has the upper section sticth which gives this away. Also are the seats just sport seats or sports adaptive?Sports chrono is a common option, but doesn't really add much to a 997 GT3 gen 1.
I'd ask for a full spec print out and then post that on here for a view. It's low miles, which is why the price is high - do you want comfort or clubsport?
I have a maxed out comfort, has all the options. Mine is road use and runs PS2s - enjoy it still after 5 years!

Same dealers as Wales OPC would'nt buy a moped off them now !!
Yes, we get it - you don't like Cardiff OPC and presumably they feel the same about you.Perhaps you should move on, no-one else cares!!
