Yes thanks for the heads up - I had missed this one!

Is there a display area for people who turn up on the day in a suitable car or do you have to be pre registered? Looks like public parking is just off site.

Paul.

I would just turn up and see if you can get into the site I'm not aware of pre registering .

I think you just turn up and they will park you in groups - Ferrari, Lambo etc... You did have to pre-register for the track display though.

I've been to this event for the last three years, normally a decent turn out.

I'm booked for the track display, usually get six or seven laps of the MB track.

Went along and enjoyed the selection of cars, weather was cracking as well!
Nice to watch them getting let off the leash a little around the track as well.
Happy to post a few pics later, what's the etiquette for posting pics of cars where you can see the reg numbers ?

Saw some of the track action, was at MB World as part of the Teddy Bear Run - photos of both are here

I was on the run too, enjoyed the sprint / convoy and was for a good cause as well. The parking at MB World was good as well.

Yea that was me, chatted to quite a few people but didn't arrive till just after 9:30, grabbed some food and it was time to go. But was worth leaving late to dodge the rain!

Some cracking photos there matey, James & I traveled up in tandem so I had a lovely view of the front end of the DDR for most of the run.

I have some GoPro footage from the run out to MB world, I'll have a look through it later when we're back in. Cheers for the photo of the Ultima.

Well not a lot at this event so left after 2 hours max, just not worth the drive.

Was a poor turnout compared to previous years and events.
I can only assume it was the weather which as late as 9pm Saturday night was showing rain all day for London, at that point I was not going, we had downpour here maybe 7am by 10am it was a fabulous sunny day so went.
Other problem is the schools have broken up so lot of people away.

Yes very quiet this year - shame as this used to be a really good event - not sure why there were so few cars..

i must admit that I don't go into Brooklands museum, its just too expensive for me to justify with young kids who will be bored after 10 minutes. The laps on MBW are always good and the 6R4 enjoyed his few solo runs

The Ultima looked and sounded epic when it blasted past me - little MX-5 couldn't keep up!
