A big of a long shot to try and describe in words, but our 997 Turbo has developed an intermittent 'buzzing' from what I'll call the rear parcel shelf. You can feel the vibration with your hand if you put it in the far driver's side corner there. It seems to only do it when cold and maybe on start up, maybe not; but a sharp turn or sudden stop will normally set it going. The two black rubber ribbed pipes on the RH side of the engine bay that disappear up over the top of the engine don't appear to be the cause, but are vibrating with the same frequency. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same or whether it needs to pay a visit to our local specialist...

Power steering fluid level OK? The two pipes are the feed/return to the PAS rack; check the rack boots with the steering on full lock for signs of leaks.

Ooooh - good call. That's one clean dipstick... Will top that up and see how it goes (and where it goes).

I heard a funny noise from that area in my 911, then when I looked turns out someone had put an engine in there smile
