'Caterham For Sale' Scam in PH Classifieds: 1992 S3 2.0 Zetec BRG £6850

I guess most people have seen this cheap BRG Caterham for sale at £6850 in the Pistonheads classifieds?

I asked a few questions and the guy advises that he's recently moved form UK to Brussels, but price includes shipping to my home address, and that the sale would be carried out via a 3rd party etc. etc.

Obvious scam is obvious, so be warned of the this way too cheap car. Anyhow, I've reported the ad as 'suspicious' to PH Classifieds.

BUT whose car is it (or was) it? Because I recall it advertised not too long ago at a normal price.

The advert says it is a 1972 car but is on a 'Q' plate to avoid VAT!! VAT wasn't around in 1972!

If it is too good to be true it normally is...

And it says it has Traction control and Power steering. What a brilliant spec Caterham.
And of course buying it in kit form does not avoid VAT.

Noticed a MK2 Escort rally car in the trackday Motorsport section of PH which also sounds dodgy, don't want to link to it though in case it isn't!!
