Can I connect a Garmin 500 to a Nexus 10 tablet?

As per the title, I would like to upload rides from my Garmin 500 to Strava via a Nexus 10 tablet. What cables and software do I need? The Nexus 10 does not have a standard USB port, but I believe it is possible using the micro UBS port.

I was investigating the same (although for a 705 to a Samsung tablet) and it seems it's not possible

Pretty much certain not possible. 810, 510, 1000 yes, 800/500 no. The software that runs on tablets etc., doesn't support download from the units via usb, even if the tablet has a fully featured usb layer. Basically you need a proper computer for that part.
