Anyone heard any updates about the Seat Tango? I saw some piccies some time ago (I think it was from a German car show). The car looked like a concept model, but piqued my interest, especially as it had the tagline "the elise-beater". Don't know what this means as there were no facts/figures or even claims.

Not heard anything since on the Tango.
Although it seems that every other week some major manufacturer or specialist kit car company announces an
"elise beater".
BTW Spooky didn't you used to have a Chimaera ?
What prompted the defection to the other side ?
The PH Public gots to know.

I did, ur right. I had a lot of probs and ended up trading it in. Had a few months sensible motoring and just got the Elise.

I must've got a lemon. I still love the sight and sound of Chimps (and Cerbies and Tusks) but my pocket is probably more suited to the Elise.

That's why I love the debates on here about Tiv vs. Lotus. They've both got hangups, but they're cars that you actually drive, and not just guide!

Shame that the Chimp was a Turkey.
Have fun in the Elise, still the best in its class.

I just lost patience, I suppose. My Chimp was at the dealer/garage 4 times in 6 months. On the other hand, a friend has had his Chimp for 3 years and apart from servicing, has had no probs.
I miss the growl (and easy roof!) but the Elise is top fun.
