E30 M3s on their way up?

I thought ebay was the place to get a bargain...apparently not - check out this link -

Bets on it not hitting the reserve, or a Mr R Sole putting in the winning bid???

Hi, given your high reserve price, I am presuming that it is an Evo, but it is difficult to make this out from the photos. Could you also confirm that it isn't a Cecotto or Ravaglia either? Do you have the original Fahzeugbref
which came with the car? If you do, please would you check that there's nothing on it which indicated the car is anything other than unfallfrei. Many thanks

The car is not an evo or any other variant of the M3. It is an M3 with a 2302 cc engine with a 158kw output at 6750 rpm and capable of 241kmph Yes I have the original vehicle document or 'Fahrzeug brief,' the above being lifted directly from it, which I understand in the usual fashion has been clipped on Import in one corner. The TUV entries appear at the rear of the
document and there is no entry of accident damage.
Whilst you may consider the price to be high I do not given the standard of this car and the fact it has and continues to be maintained to a very high standard. My fiancee is repeatedly asking me to withdraw it as I have no reason to sell it and with, perhaps some attention to the stone chipping of the front bonnet/spoiler, by a quality bodyshop the car would be perfect. And I happen to be smoking some decent skunk as I write this...
So, a boggo M3, not mint in the paint department only 20k away from some chain work...all for £8k, on ebay

What difference does it make if you think the price is too high? Don't buy it!
Personally I'm always dubious about high prices on cars that are of 'a very high standard' because all too often when you get a look a the real car it disappoints.
I guess we all have different perceptions of perfection :-)
If you want to see a car that _really is_ of a very high standard, try looking here:

With the dollar to pound ration at the moment this is oh so tempting...
