991 C2S ...theoretical question.
Discussion
If you had the chance of a really good deal on a new car or pre reg car , would you take it now or wait and pay nearer to list for the new model coming out later this year , bearing in mind I've driven the current model and enjoyed it but haven't even read anything resembling a test on the new model ?
I would take the circa 15% discount to be had on a new/preregd 991 at the end of the year when 992 arrives! Not only the discount I remember reading of quality issues by new owners of early 991!in my book better to buy new model series when been built for 12 months or so and quality issues ironed out.
I've already made this decision, and have ordered a new 4GTS, with a healthy discount.
It's the last of the large Engine NA cars. I have ordered a rather large spec, and the GTS is full of goodies to start with.
There is time to buy a turbo, small capacity engine in the future.....
(GT2/3 will probably have NA engines in the future)
Obviously discounts will be available on the gen2 cars as they come to market, but that will be another summer gone.
