Has anyone here put some miles on one of these? Looked at one today and was quite taken with it. Not keen on the BB and square seatpost purely from an engineering POV but apart from the brand lots of people seem to be raving about the handling/ride/balance? Flirting with two or three bikes right now. I want to keep my Venge so another aero bike isn't needed.

Any negatives that I can't see with BMC?

Eh? What will this do that your Venge can't?

Hopefully a softer ride, better for longer rides. The Venge is great but it's quite harsh, even with 25's fitted.

I could never get away from the extra triangualtion that BMC put in around the seat stay, just looks wrong.

You got wide rims on the venge?

I've got 23mm rims on my tarmac which is apparently stiffer than venge and its pretty comfortable if that's your bag...23mm rims help a lot, but I think you do already have those.

No, still have the Fulcrum Zero's but they're at the point now where they're due for new rims at least. Might be worth a shot with a HED Ardennes or similar...

Still want to move away from mechanical groupset and sort the crappy BB30 out, which as I have a P2M in there will need a solution based around that spindle.
