My Tuscan has been up in Blackpool at Surface and Design and D&C Trim for a respray and re-trim.
They are delivering her to my home this week.
Its been a while as I dropped her of on 5th January.

Cant wait to get home and see the results but I'm in Germany another 3 weeks frown God I've learned to be patient with TVR's

VERY nice, that colour shows off the curves so much better. I can't believe it's the same car in the int/ext workshop shots!

Thanks, it was the curves and the invisibility of the spidery scratches that sent me to this colour.

(Different lights support different ranges of colour spectrum so if you have only one type such as florescent tubes, you can end up with very misleading results.
To get a more natural result needs a combination of lighting). nerd

Delayed another week frown
The last job to be done was the fitting of the new roof panel inner lining material.
When the D&C chaps started the job this week, they realized that there was a mark in the material and so must get replacement material.
The supplier in Manchester is closed this week but will deliver on Monday next. coffee

Thanks.
I'm pining to see it but have to wait a little longer.
The Invoice identifies it as Ferrari Alloy Pearl with 5% Silver Spectra Flair.

I'm aching to see her. Dropped her off early January with a "No hurry" message.
I need to call today to confirm delivery for this week but I don't get home until 6th July banghead

Are you staying with the original silver ?

So, so called. Are you telling me they would allow a car to be in storage over a 6 month period becauase you are getting the car re-sprayed,trimmed etc... That's sounds like a plan.

I would say it was more of a slowed down process than a storage.
Please don't give the guys up in Blackpool the idea of adding a storage charge on to the bill. nono

I know what you mean, I've had one or two teaser shots including my modified filler (350 owners will know why) but I can't wait to get her back.
I've gone for something a little different as I want to put the last 18 months behind me and move on, been a nightmare time with inspections, reports and lots of lies/denials from the previous place but on the road to being sorted now.

Sorry to hear about your problems. To a degree I understand as my first Tuscan lasted 34 miles before engine failure and the dealer was a complete arcensoredle conman.
My line was drawn after the car was back on the road and the simple action of driving it made all the previous problems disappear smile suffice to say expensive lesson learned.
Good luck.
