Taffia Tours Se7en Wonders of Wales Tour 2015

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September 2015

Come & join Taffia Tours on our magical 2 day journey up & down the wonderful Welsh roads. The Tour is broken into 2 days; each day is about 200miles travelling distance.
Each day is broken into smaller sections with a break between each.

Day 1: Expect to arrive at Porthmadog around 5pm
Section 1 > Across the lowlands
Usk to Crossgates Café & Garage at Junction of A44 and A483, this will be our first stop after about 2 hours for refreshments.

Section 2 > over the pass, round the lake and do the triangle
Crossgates to Lyn Brenig visitors centre. This is the lake visitors’ centre near Bala on the EVO triangle, about 2 hours on from Crossgates.

Section 3 > Through the hills to the coast
Scenic 1½ hour run From Lyn Brenig to Porthmadog and your overnight stay at your selected hotel/B & B/ campsite


Day 2 : Expect to arrive at Piercefield pub, Chepstow at around 5pm

Regroup at The Visitors car park Portmeirion where we will spend a few hours taking in this fantastic village.
There will be the opportunity to take your car into the village for photographs.
We will arrange the logistics of this at 09:00 in the Carpark at Portmeirion.
But don’t panic everyone will have the opportunity.
We aim to depart the village at about 10:30.

Section 1 > Village to Tal-y-llyn lake
Tal-y-llyn is one of the most scenic lakes in Wales. We will take a 1½ hour route there and re group at the eastern end of the lake at the Pen-y-Bont pub.
Refreshments are available.

Section 2 > Over the top and Halt!
Great 2 hour blat over the Staylittle pass to Halt Café and petrol station, 3 miles south of Rhayader.

Section 3 > Its Sunday so off to Chapel
Depart Halt and head to our finish pub, the Piercefield, via the Epynt military ranges and Upper Chapel and finally the Black mountain test road.
Quick 1½ hour run.
