Weather wasn't as bad as the forecast had us believe today, it rained lightly in the morning but cleared up quite soon, and only really started again towards the late afternoon.

Typhoon makes a nice noise

Usual jumping cars on the bridge

Super Moto enjoying themselves again

Fingers crossed for tomorrow, looking forward to the Vulcan even though it's only a flypast.

Hi Droopsnoot,

Great photos! Glad you got one of me on the bridge, although that was on my first or second run so was a bit tentative. I was giving it the beans over the bridge yesterday and it felt like there was plenty of resulting air time so hopefully I'll be able to track down some shots of it... Very humbling to have the honour of piloting my humble car around this track as it was by far the least valuable machine running I reckon! At least it was quick though driving

I think the Typhoon was the star of the show; he wasn't holding back!!

And yes I was at the Wharf on Thursday; what a lovely evening! What were you there in?

Yes, that was quite early on and I think everyone was getting faster, apart from the F40 - I think I've got a couple more but not in the same location and probably with all wheels on the ground. The Typhoon was good, the Vulcan display was good because it wasn't expected.

I was at the Wharf with a mate, just went in his normal car to have a look, not in anything classic.

Well I had 2 posts on Car Clubs topic one being from CPOP so thought I would try here !
1st of all I would like to say a BIG THANKYOU to all of you who attended in the Car Club section we had a brilliant weekend Friday we had a few in attendance, Sat was a good day, I don't think the weather forecast was in our favor, although the actual weather was acceptable, Sunday we had a really great turnout.
Martin Williamson of The West Cheshire MG Owners Club picked up best Club Stand
followed by Kev Robinson who won best car in show with a beautiful Alvis
We had some awesome cars parked either side of the pay booth which included a Spiker a brand new Porsche GT3 (had only picked it up monday) Aston Martins an old speedster with a limited edition Speedster S, a new Lambo Hurican in the best colour Kawasaki Green 2 Rolls Royce just too many to mention all in all an excellent car club show Thankyou

Thanks, I'm always surprised at how much interest it gets, but then I've had it a long time and I always forget how many people come to things like that that don't necessarily go to static classic shows, but we're also not far from where it was built so a lot of "I worked there when these were built" comments.

Please feel free to post, I didn't really mean it to be just my photos from CPOP, more of a way to bring them together.

I think Friday is always going to be a quiet day, just because so many people are working for at least the morning, and I'd agree that the forecast for Saturday will have put people off, but it had virtually dried off by the start of the track action. I'm looking forward to next year.

Hi Droopsnoot. Here's a couple of Sportscarhire's Audi R8 that I was driving, it's for hire on the road but had track insurance so I could drive it like I stole it... it jumps, & slides rather well out of tight corners wink. Someone's sending me a good jump pic soon to add on too. www.sportshire.co.uk

Keep them coming anyone. I just remembered I didn't actually walk around much of the car club area, even though I was parked in it for the whole weekend, so the only stuff I saw that was east of the footbridge was whatever was there when I arrived, or still there when I left.
