Just spotted a dent on the case edge of my Submariner.
Gutted!

Anyone know if this is repairable?

thanks in advance!

I think any attempt at polishing that out will make it worse, at probably devalue the watch

Ask Rocco at www.watchworks.co.uk – he's normally the one to see for micro-welding, although I'd be inclined to think it's a bit beyond that....but you never know.

I have seen worse repaired with micro welding, Rocco is the go to man.

Another vote for Rocco, he did an outstanding job for me earlier this year on a vintage Omega chronograph that had been butchered.

He's very good.

On the flip side, I had no reply when I enquired (twice) with Rocco about some work, which still needs doing...I even included pictures and offered to hand deliver pre-disassembled to minimise workload/time
Stunning results by all accounts, but crap communication.

Strange, my experience couldn't have been better (maybe cheaper!). If it was earlier this year, a bereavement put him out of action for a while. Once he was back, I had a very good job delivered on time. Worth phoning, I dealt with his wife who was very helpful.

Will give him a try again then I guess. Have been very impressed with the work he has done that others have posted on other forums.

btw Dominic, that reverso 976 you have in, does it wear as big as I think it would @ 49mm lug to lug?
You don't happen to have a smaller reverso (grande taille or classique ideally!) in as well for a comparison?

(Sorry for the thread hijack OP!)

It wears well, no bigger than a Submariner (40mm diameter). Nice watch.
