Quick question 1... How much does 0.2mm matter?

Afternoon all,
I'm putting together an On-One Inbred for my son's 10th birthday, and I'm having issues with the seat clamp!
On-One claim the frame takes a 29.8mm seat clamp. Is this the only bike ever made with such a clamp??? I cannot find a 29.8mm QR clamp anywhere!!! I've found a couple of bolt up clamps, but as I drop the saddle every time I put their bikes in the car (every Saturday morning, plus other outings), that's a right pain in the arse!
I have found a few 30mm QR clamps, but how much difference would 0.2mm make? Bearing in mind he's only ten, so doesn't weigh that much...
