1976 submariner help
Discussion
Are you specifically looking for a no-date watch?
This time last year I bought a 1680 Sub (for my 40 th too as it happens!)
Good places to try are:
Mike Wood of The Old Watch Shop ( few, if any, know more than him about vintage Subs)
Jason Graham of Sweeping Hands
And not forgetting Dom H (Hackett watches) who frequents PH
I guess about 6ish if you want box and papers. It was around 4 to 4.5 for a no b&p for 1680 last year.
Or... If you are willing to do lots of homework you could try the Rolex forums, there are quite a few trusted sellers on them. I bought mine via TURF (the ultimate rolex forum) which is much more UK centric site after putting a wanted ad on.
Happy hunting and keep us posted.
