Just read the rules. Maximum 50000 entrants (so plenty, but not going to suddenly do a hover). You will get a code for 12 free. You have to order them and pay p&p. £3.99, but free if you order other stuff that comes to over £25. You don't have to order anything else. Not free free, but not unreasonable, and if your buying gels anyway it is £15 of product for £3.99.

Thanks for spotting this Alawson I've signed up and am also going to watch Brad hopefully break the record so this adds a little more spice to the event! (I live a shallow sad life!)

Signed up so fingers crossed for later - would i be right in guessing it'll be sky only ?

Tried my 1st of these gels today - they are a most unusual texture (but then i've not tried gels before) cant think of anything to compare them to.

12 Free Gels!!??

These must be the most expensive FREE thing that I have ever seen!

Free means free!

Free means without charge!

In fact The Oxford Reference Dictionary gives seven meanings for the word'free'.

These gels do not comply with any of those definitions.

Let us hear no more of this nonsense.

Paying for postage is bks. It's essentially just a discount voucher.

Blimey, tough crowd.

I thought it was quite a generous offer.

Me too.
You can get bargain gels cheaper but I pay £4.99 or £5.99 for a box of 7 SIS gels usually, so £3.99 for 12 is fine by me.

Obviously there's the unseen cost of probably having your email folder full of offers you don't want from now on, but that's no biggie. wink

So has anyone received their voucher yet?

I was expecting an automatic email last night, but still nothing by 10:20 today.

Voucher came through today, I needed a few more and some other stuff for upcoming rides so it was a good deal for me.

They also reduced the minimum spend for free delivery to £10 and as it happened the rest of what I wanted to order was reduced to £10.79. So in the end over £30 of things I was going to get anyway for £10.79 is a decent result.

Yep, my voucher came through. Not much else I need at the minute so just paid the £3.99 for the Gels. Happy with that. SIS is a brand I use anyway.

Thanks for the heads up OP and well done Bradley. thumbup

I also got £23 worth of drink and post ride stuff, which meant free delivery and the free gels. I was going to get that stuff anyway.

Hopefully there will be the same offer for whoever does the next attempt!

Same here. I needed more caffeine gels and Rego so this mixed bag of 12 was a generous and welcome addition.

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Gels are like what I imagine to be the business end of a blow job.

If that's true then I may write SiS GO on my member and start charging Mrs Gruffy £1+ per serving. From time to time I may offer '12 free' deals too.
