Cube Agree GTC
Discussion
The company I work for currently has the Halfords Cycle2Work scheme running so I'm taking advantage to get myself a road bike. After doing a bit of research I'm looking to try and get a 2014 Cube Agree GTC. Several retailers have it on offer for less than £800 but either don't accept the Halfords Cycle2Work LOC or don't have it available in my size - 53cm. I've almost given up hope of finding one now but before I do, does anyone know of any available for a decent price in a 53cm frame from a retailer that will accept a Halfords Cycle2Work LOC? I may have to change my expectations and get a 2015 Peloton Pro or Race instead but if I thought I'd have one last try at finding that elusive Agree.
you may struggle I'm afraid. Cube have been something a victim of their own success this year.
As far as I know they have sold out of all carbon road bikes until the 2016 stuff comes out sometime in autumn. All that you'll find is the stock that retailers have left over or have on back order with Cube

Have you tried phoning the number on the voucher? Our place until recently only offered the halfords scheme but if you phone them up they'll source almost any bike for you weather it's available from halfords or not, when I bought my specialized they bought it from a different shop and had it delivered to me.
Be careful thinking you can get a discounted bike on the scheme. My other half got a Cube Peleton at the end of 2013 on CTW. She wanted the Cube Agree but as this was only available at a discount below the £1000, Halfords wouldn't provide it so she ended up with a 2014 Peleton instead.
Have you actually checked the bike you want for size? The cube sizing is a little odd and you shouldn't rely on the numbers. I'm afraid I can't offer much advice on the availability
2016 ranges will be announced August time, so I do wonder if stock levels start to drop off at this time of year.

I just thought I'd update this and let you know that I managed to get a Cube Agree GTC triple from my local bike shop using my Halfords Cycle2Work voucher. Amazingly, they had the exact bike I wanted in the right size brand new and boxed lurking in the back of the shop and all I had to do was ask! They even price matched the best online price I found. I'm really happy with it so far and can't recommend Cycle Gear in Halifax enough.

Good news Hornsey. Great acceleration out of the corners. I love mine!
